ItineraryDay 1 Morning departure for the journey with comfort stops en route to Mickleover West Derby and the hotel for a four night stay.Days 2 to 4 During your stay we have included the following excursions:-
- This morning travel to the Museum of Making in the Derwent Valley Mills UNESCO World Heritage Site with time to explore and enjoy a coffee before continuing to Belper, the only town in the Derwent Valley. Visit the 200 year-old market place surrounded by historic buildings and structures and take a stroll in the River Garden.
- Today you will enjoy a scenic drive into the stunning Peak District, by way of Leek and Whaley Bridge to Glossop, before travelling along the Snake Pass to Ladybower Reservoir taking in some breath-taking views along the way (subject to the Pass being open) and on to Castleton for some free time before returning to hotel.
- This morning you will travel to Bakewell, idyllically situated on the banks of the River Wye, and best known for its unique and delicious Bakewell Pudding. Free time to wander and get a coffee and try the famous pudding. Afterwards you will travel to Cromford Mills for a guided tour, and learn about the water powered cotton spinning mill.
