itineraryItinerary Day 1 Morning departure for Savill Gardens, arriving in time to grab some lunch before starting to explore the gardens with its Royal history. Stroll around the 35 acres of interconnected gardens including the Hidden Gardens, Spring Wood, the Summer Gardens, the New Zealand Garden, Summer Wood, The Glades, Autumn Wood and the Winter Beds. Each season brings with it something new, transforming the scene with fresh displays to explore. After the visit you will travel through part of the Great Park and on to the hotel for a one night stay.
Day 2 After breakfast, depart the hotel and head into the centre of London for some free time before a guided tour of the Houses of Parliament. Discover how the UK Parliament works and see where history is still being made. You will walk through the Commons Chamber and Lords Chamber and follow in the footsteps of HM The Queen at the State Opening and be inspired by the medieval Westminster Hall. Almost 1,000 years old, the hall is the oldest building on the Parliamentary estate. Stand on the very spots where famous speeches, court trials, celebrations and more sombre state occasions have taken place over the years and see the recently restored hammer-beam roof. The coach will depart at 16.00 hours for the homeward journey.
