North Wales, Llandudno Coast And Gwrych Castle

Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to North Wales and to Abergele for a four night stay.

Days 2 to 4 We have included the following excursions:

• A short day visit to the popular seaside resort of Llandudno. Plenty of time to explore, take a stroll along the promenade, visit the shops or enjoy a unique experience on the Great Orme Tramway with breath- taking views at the top.

• Travel along the coast to Penrhyn Castle and Garden, an enormous 19th century neo-Norman Castle crammed with fascinating items, elaborate carvings, furniture, paintings and lovely gardens. After having lunch in the café, you will travel to Betws-y-Coed. Much of the town was built in Victorian times and is the principal village of the Snowdonia National Park.

• You will travel the short distance to Gwrych Castle, a popular attraction in the most picturesque setting. On arrival you will be taken on a guided tour where you will visit some of the set locations used for the 2020 and 2021 series of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! The set isn’t there, but you will be able to view props. There are 10 photo opportunities. Limited facilities here but there is a pop-up shop and café with light snacks. NB: If you wish to check accessibility at the castle please use this link:https://www.gwrychcastle.co.uk/accessibility/ In the afternoon you will visit Denbigh in the heart of North Wales overlooking the breath-taking Vale of Clwyd where you will have time to enjoy lunch and look at some of the listed buildings here in the town.

Day 5 After breakfast, depart hotel and commence the homeward journey

• entrance and guided tour of Gwrych Castle
• entrance to Penrhyn Castle & Garden

Set amongst rolling parkland with spectacular views of the coast. All bedrooms are en-suite with TV, WiFi and tea/coffee making facilities Lift, restaurant, lounge/bar, terrace and Kinspa which contains a swimming pool, hydrotherapy pool, sauna, steam room and gym.

NB: Five rooms are not accessible by the lift.
