NorwichDay 1 Morning departure for the journey to Norfolk and to the seaside town of Cromer for a six night stay.
Day 2 A day in Norwich with over 1,500 historic buildings and two cathedrals. Enjoy free time before travelling to Wroxham where we have included a two hour cruise on the picturesque Broads.
Day 3 This morning you will travel to the attractive Victorian resort of Sheringham to board the train of the North Norfolk railway (Poppy Line) for an 11 mile return journey to Holt. Enjoy the scenery whilst travelling through the lovely Norfolk countryside. Free time on arrival back into Sheringham for lunch before travelling to the Hanseatic town of King’s Lynn. See fine old merchants’ houses that stretch down to the river between cobbled lanes and the elegant Custom House that overlooks the harbour.
Day 4 Free day in Cromer, look for the cafes where you can find the famous Cromer crab dishes.
Day 5 Today you will visit Holkham Hall, and all its treasures, the tranquil Deer Park and the beautiful Walled Garden. You will explore the Hall, enjoy lunch in the Courtyard Café and then visit the Walled Garden. You will then visit Wells-next-the-Sea before returning to Cromer.
Day 6 In the morning you will visit Norfolk Lavender and read how the founder, Linn Chilvers, dream of growing and distilling lavender came into fruition when he partnered with Francis ‘Ginger’ Dusgate of Fring Hall. Take a stroll around the grounds, visit the shop or enjoy a coffee and slice of cake. Afterwards visit Fakenham, the largest town in north Norfolk, surrounded by beautiful countryside and sitting along the River Wensum.
Day 7 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journe
