ItineraryDay 1 Morning departure for the journey west to North Devon and to Ilfracombe for a three night stay.
Day 2 Travel along the north coast of Devon to Minehead, a thriving holiday resort with beaches to explore, a fishing quarter and a historic harbour. There is a 14th century church on the hill and the much-photographed historic Church Steps. After lunch you will return by way of picturesque Dunster, a fascinating historic village with a Norman castle and historic Old Yarn Market.
Day 3 This morning you will travel to Quince Honey Farm where you will partake in a tour of their factory and tasting. You will then travel back to the hotel to enjoy lunch. Spend the afternoon in Ilfracombe with its stunning beaches and coves including the famous Tunnels Beaches. Explore its picturesque historic harbour of quaint pastel coloured houses, the 14th century chapel perched on Lantern Hill and Damien Hirst’s statue Verity standing guard at the entrance surrounded by dramatic clifftop scenery and is directly on the South West Coast Path.
Day 4 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
