North Devon Coast, Ilfracombe, Cruise And Train

Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to North Devon and Ilfracombe for a four night stay.

Days 2 to 4 A free day in Ilfracombe for you to enjoy the beach, historic harbour, and some of the many attractions. We have also included the following excursions:

• Morning visit to Marwood Hill Gardens and tea room. A special 20 acre private garden with three beautiful lakes tucked secretly away in a North Devon valley. The tranquil gardens will provide both inspiration and relaxation for everyone. There is also a plant nursery and tearoom. After lunch you will travel back to Ilfracombe to enjoy a 90 minute Exmoor Cliffs and waterfall cruise, visiting sites from the smuggler’s caves, highest cliffs in England and the spectacular Sherracombe.

• A visit to the villages of Lynton and Lynmouth. You will travel to Lynmouth to allow you to take the 19th century water powered funicular cliff railway to picturesque Lynton for free time to explore before travelling to Woody Bay to board the Lynton and Barnstaple Railway for a 20 minute two mile return journey travelling in a Victorian railway carriage designed in the 1890s.

Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey

• Coach travel

• 90 minute cruise from Ilfracombe
• entrance to Marwood Hill Gardens
• single trip on the Lynton Lynmouth Cliff Railway
