Itinerary
Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to the town of Lynton and to the hotel for a four night stay.
Day 2 A scenic drive into the stunning Exmoor National Park, calling at Dunster, a village steeped in medieval history and home to over 200 listed buildings and a fairy tale castle on the hill. You will have free time here to explore before visiting the seaside and harbour town of Watchet, which lies at the mouth of the Washford River on Bridgwater Bay.
Day 3 Today you will travel to Ilfracombe for some free time before continuing by way of Woolacombe to Barnstable for lunch before travelling to RHS Rosemoor Gardens, nestled in a Devon valley. The gardens blend formal and informal plantings to a magical effect.
Day 4 A free day to explore Lynton and enjoy a ride on the Lynton and Lynmouth funicular cliff railway, (not included) which is the highest and the steepest totally water powered railway in the world, or just enjoy a drink and cream tea at the Cliff Top Café, with stunning views.
Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
