Day 1 Morning departure to Cornwall and on to the hotel in St Agnes arriving late afternoon for a four night stay.Day 2 To St Ives, one of Cornwall’s top destinations and perfectly situated overlooking a crescent of beaches. The town has become a magnet to some of the world’s greatest painters, sculptors, and ceramists. There are plenty of pavement cafes for you to enjoy and have some lunch. (NB: shuttle bus to the centre is available at a small cost). This afternoon you will visit the ancient market town of Penzance set in beautiful Mounts Bay.
Day 3 This morning a visit to the pretty village of Mevagissey, a typical picture postcard style village, where pubs, cafes, galleries and shops cluster around the harbour walls and line the pretty streets. In the afternoon you will visit Charlestown with its beach and historic harbour along with restaurants and cafes. The harbour is also used as a filming location in the Poldark TV series.
Day 4 Today you will first travel to the charming working fishing port of Padstow. Surrounded by glorious beaches at the head of the Camel River and also a foodie destination with popular eateries such as Rick Stein’s seafood restaurant. Afterwards you will travel to Truro, Cornwall’s only city. Visit the cathedral or take a look in the Royal Cornwall Museum and learn about the Cornish way of life and culture.
Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey Back to top

This elegant Queen Anne residence dates back to the 1780s and is set in over four acres of secluded gardens. All bedrooms are en-suite with TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Comfortable lounges, bar and restaurant.
NB: There is no lift, but there are some ground floor rooms available on request, with other rooms on the first floor.
