Norfolk’S Polar Express And Norwich City

Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to Norfolk and to the hotel in Taverham for a four night stay.

Day 2 Today you will visit the historic village of Walsingham, famed for its religious shrines and a major pilgrimage centre since medieval times, for free time to explore before travelling on to Kings Lynn. An historic medieval port overflowing with maritime history, situated on the banks of the River Great Ouse.

Day 3 This morning you will visit the city of Norwich, with its cobbled streets, fascinating historical buildings, museums and plenty of shops to browse. Time to visit the stunning cathedral or the newly re-opened Norwich Castle Museum. At 13.00 hours you will travel to Wroxham Barns with its Courtyard Café, unique shopping and craft studios. Here, we have included an afternoon tea for you to enjoy before returning to the hotel.

Day 4 A drive to Cromer, the gem of the Norfolk Coast, with its famous pier, for free time to explore and perhaps grab a crab sandwich for lunch. Afterwards travel along the coast by way of Sheringham to Dereham where you will experience the Mid-Norfolk Railway, Polar Express train ride. The Polar Express is theatrically re-created so you can be immersed in the sights, sounds and intrigue of this classic children’s tale. Prepare to be surrounded by the magic and the wonder of the Christmas season.

Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
