ItineraryNorwichDay 1 Morning departure for the journey to Ely for lunch before continuing onto the Dunston Hall for a four night stay.
Day 2 Today you will visit Holkham Hall, and all its treasures, the tranquil Deer Park and the beautiful Walled Garden. The fascinating history of how Holkham has changed over the years, how the Hall was built and about the Coke family’s historical past, from prosecuting Gunpowder Plotters to revolutionising agriculture. In the afternoon visit Norfolk Lavender and read how the founder, Linn Chilvers, dreamt of growing and distilling lavender came into fruition when he partnered with Francis ‘Ginger’ Dusgate of Fring Hall. Stroll through the fields, visit the shop or enjoy a coffee and slice of cake.
Day 3 This morning travel to Aylsham, where you will embark on a 45 minute journey on the narrow gauge Bure Valley Railway through the picturesque countryside to Wroxham. On arrival you can take a leisurely walk to Wroxham Bridge to obtain lunch before embarking on the next stage of your journey, a 90 minute circular cruise of the Norfolk Broads.
Day 4 Visit to the classic Norfolk seaside town of Great Yarmouth, known for its long sandy beach. For lunch you head to Norwich and have plenty of time to explore this medieval city.
Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
