Once again Longleat is staging Europe’s largest ever display of giant Chinese lanterns which will transform the estate into a glowing winter wonderland.

Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to Longleat, with its stately house and safari. You will enjoy a day of traditional festival celebrations set within the house with its Christmas decorations and through the gardens with avenues of trees. At 16.00 hours the lights come on as the Festival of Light begins, and you will see Chinese lanterns come alive and transport you into a world of fantasy. You will depart at 18.00 hours and travel to the hotel for a two night stay.
Day 2 After a leisurely breakfast you will be taken into the city of Bristol where you will enjoy two Christmas markets in the heart of the shopping area. There is a traditional German market with decorations, lights and nativity scenes and gifts. As well as the local Christmas market showing a selection of hand-made jewellery, glassware, photographs and decorations. Returning to hotel late afternoon.
Day 3 After breakfast depart for the city of Bath, known for its natural hot springs and 18th century Georgian architecture. Time to explore the Royal Crescent, one of Bath’s most iconic attractions, the magnificent Circus, Pulteney Bridge, The Roman Baths and much more. Whilst you are exploring, why not pick up the ultimate local Bath delicacy, the Sally Lunn bun. You will then depart from Bath at approx 15.00 hours for the homeward journeyBack to top
