Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to North Wales and to Llandudno for a three night stay. On
arrival you will be warmly welcomed at the hotel by the Army who will serve tea and scones whilst luggage is being dealt with. You will then be issued your very own ration book which will include your itinerary and coupons. Entertainment each evening which can include a piano singalong, an evening with a guitarist and banjo player and the hotel’s very own ‘Vera Lynn’ All information will appear on the hotel notice board.

Day 2 A day of stunning scenery as you head off through the Conwy Valley, Betws-Y-Coed and Capel Curig to see the Three Peaks of Snowdonia and the renowned Twin Lakes. Return to the hotel by way of the Llanberis Pass.

Day 3 A free day to explore Llandudno which still retains its Victorian character with large seafront hotels, pier and shopping arcades. Perhaps get back in time for a bar snack or sandwich and if not in time don’t be late for tea and tiffin cake at 15.30 hours.

Fancy dress will be judged at 20.30 hours this evening. There will be a flag for every guest and those who do not want to dress up, the hotel will lend a tin helmet or you can buy a union jack bowler from reception.

Day 4 The war is over! After breakfast wave goodbye, depart the hotel and say We’ll Meet Again! Before commencing the homeward journey.
