Betws-y-CoedDay 1 Morning departure for the journey to Llandudno and the hotel for a four night stay.
Days 2 to 4 A free day in Llandudno and we have included a ride on the Great Orme electric tramway for some fantastic views from the summit before exploring the town, and the pier with a stroll along the promenade. We have included the following excursions:
A visit to Anglesey and to Beaumaris, a captivating seaside town with a mix of medieval, Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian architecture.
A ‘must‘ is to take a walk through the town, starting with a stroll along the seafront, taking in the pier and views over the Menai Strait and Snowdonia, then continuing through the charming streets with their picturesque cottages. Also look at the unfinished Beaumaris Castle with its moat and a dock. After lunch travel to Bodnant Gardens where you can marvel at plants from all over the world grown from seeds and cuttings.- A scenic drive to breathtaking Betws-y-Coed. Free time to enjoy this area and perhaps visit the Conwy Valley Railway Museum and take a ride on the miniature railway or take a stroll along the river. After lunch you will visit Trefiw Woollen Mills and you can see the looms working and view the water turbine which powers the mill museum. (NB: No toilets or café on site.) You will then travel back to Llandudno.
Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
