Manchester Ship Canal © VisitEnglandDay 1 Morning departure to Liverpool and the hotel for a four night stay.Day 2 Today you will head to Tatton Park. The Mansion sits in an elevated position in the heart of the landscaped parkland. It houses one of the National Trust’s finest libraries and a collection of furniture, paintings and ceramics. Time to explore both mansion and gardens before returning to Liverpool.
Day 3 Enjoy a two hour guided coach tour of Liverpool and marvel at the history, heritage and architecture before having free time to explore this fascinating and vibrant city.
Day 4 Highlight of the tour is a round-trip cruise along the Manchester Ship Canal, one of Britain’s most historic waterways, sailing from Seacombe/Liverpool to the historic Latchford Locks and back, for a fascinating six hour cruise, with a lively commentary along the way, it is as awe-inspiring as it is relaxing.
