Lancashire’S Lytham St Annes And Southport Flower Show Spectacle

Day 1 Morning departure for the journey north to Lytham St Annes and the hotel for a four night stay.

Days 2 to 4 A free day to explore Lytham St Annes with its expansive sandy beach, Victorian pier and historic windmill. We have included the following excursions:

• With 100 years of history, the spectacular Southport Flower Show is the UK’s largest, independent flower show where you can experience its delights. Held in the charming town of Southport, this show features stunning displays of flowers, plants, and garden designs from talented exhibitors. Visitors can wander through vibrant floral arrangements, learn from expert gardeners, and gather inspiration for their own green spaces. The event also includes a variety of gardening-related stalls, craft booths, and delicious food stands, making it a wonderful day out. Do not miss the Grand Floral Marquee! You can admire the colours and scents of lovingly nurtured flowers and discover unique plant varieties. Gain on-the-spot advice from talented experts and enjoy the range of entertainment, including live music and demonstrations. It is a fantastic opportunity to relax, take in the lovely surroundings and find inspiration for your own garden and with time to enjoy the local shops and pretty promenade.

• A day excursion takes you to the lovely market town of Garstang, set on the banks of the River Wyre and steeped in history with beautiful architecture. Enjoy some free time before travelling to another Lancashire seaside favourite – Morecambe. Take a stroll along the award-winning promenade and golden beach enjoying views across the bay to the Lake District and look out for the Eric Morecambe Statue and have a coffee or ice cream in one of the many seafront cafés.

Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
