This tour will take you to the ‘loveliest castle in the world’, a train journey, and the city of Canterbury. An area which is home to more castles, stately homes and gardens than any other region in Britain.

Leeds CastleItinerary
Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to Kent and the hotel for a five night stay.
Days 2 to 5 We have included the following excursions:
A visit to stunning Leeds Castle. An elegant 12th century castle which rises majestically from the waters of its moat and is surrounded by 500 acres of parkland and gardens. So much for you to see and do and you will return to the hotel mid-afternoon.
A morning visit to Canterbury, dominated by its stunning cathedral, the oldest in England, with time to explore the town, with its cathedral and quaint cobbled streets. Afterwards travel to Tenterden for some free time before boarding the Kent & East Sussex Railway taking you on a 50 minute journey through the lovely countryside to Bodiam.
Morning visit to the Riverhill Himalayan Gardens, an intriguing mix of historic and traditional planting with plenty for you to admire when exploring the gardens. You will then head to Kent Life Heritage Farm Park – a working farm and opportunity to explore its collection of historic rural buildings, which have been saved from demolition and carefully reassembled to their former glory, with animals to see and gardens to enjoy.
- Enjoy a visit and guided tour of Godinton House in the heart of Kent. The guide will unravel 600 years of history before having time to explore the delightful gardens then enjoy a cream tea. Afterwards you will travel to Faversham to wander through medieval streets, walk along Faversham Creek or grab a coffee before returning to the hotel.
Day 6 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey
