ItineraryDiano Marina by Davide Papalini
Day 1 Early departure to Dover for the ferry crossing to Calais and on to the Dijon area for an overnight stop (dinner not included).
Day 2 Continue south into Italy to Diano Marina and the hotel for a seven night stay.
Days 3 to 8 One day at leisure, with the following excursions included:
Day tour to Imperia with a visit to the Olive Tree Museum then to Porto Maurizio for lunch before visiting San Remo with its palm-fringed shores and historic area.
Day tour to Monte Carlo, one of Europe’s leading tourist resorts with so much to see and do.
Day tour to Santa Margherita, a wonderfully old fashioned resort for free time before taking a boat to Portafino. A fishing village with a cobbled square overlooking the harbour lined with super yachts.
Short day to Ventimiglia where Friday is market day, so head to the old market hall and marvel at the local produce, and wander round the street markets that line the town and seafront.
Half day tour to the seaside resort of Alassio.
Day 9 Depart for the return journey to the Dijon area and an overnight stop (dinner not included).
Day 10 Breakfast, then commence the homeward journey.
