During the tour, we have included a guide, you will see the Holy Mount of Crea with its chapel before continuing to Cella Monte, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. This is a true open-air museum with its imposing buildings from times gone by adorning the slopes of the Monferrato Hills. This is another famous wine growing area and you will have the chance to sample the produce too. You end the day in the town of Asti, a town rich in Churches, Palaces and picturesque towers which will enchant you.

Day 4 You will embark on a tour around the Roero area, with a guide, to see the wine villages of La Morra and Grinzane Cavour and visit the Castle which is surrounded by vineyards. The castle is embedded in beautiful pristine countryside and is just 3 miles from Alba, a small medieval city, once known as the city of 100 towers. After a short visit you continue to Nieve, for a leisurely stroll through its narrow winding streets and beautiful monuments from days gone by. The medieval village centre offers a breath-taking view out on to slopes filled with vines that produce grapes used to make the world famous Barbaresco red wine. Of course, you will have time to sample some of the fruits of their labour.

The tour will take in countless Castles and Palaces perched on hilltops lined with vineyards. There will be a brief stop at the Vicoforte Sanctuary, before heading to the village of Monforte d’Alba. The old town, which stretches out from the old bell tower contains charming villas and impressive palaces surrounded by rolling Piedmont hills. Here you will learn all about the production and will get the chance to sample the produce accompanied by a few snacks before returning to the hotel.
