Douglas Marina by Jim LinwoodDay 1 Morning departure for the journey north for an overnight stop.Day 2 Continue the journey to Heysham for the 14.15 hours sailing to Douglas arriving at 17.45 hours and to the hotel for a four night stay.
Day 3 Today you will meet your tour guide who will be with you for 2 1⁄2 days. You will travel to Castletown for a taste of island history and a visit to Castle Rushen and the Old School House. Afterwards you will visit the Sound and obtain lunch before continuing onto Cregneash Folk Village, a living illustration of a farming and crofting community in the 19th and early 20th century. Then onto Port Erin for a short break before a steam train ride to Douglas.
Day 4 Today you will visit Laxey, the home of ‘Lady Isabella’ the largest working watermill in the world. Then you will enjoy a railway journey to Snaefell Summit. Enjoy the views before the return journey back to Laxey. Continuing to Maughold and to Ramsey before returning by way of the Mountain Road TT course.
Day 5 A visit to Peel, an attractive seaside resort complete with castle, sandy beach, harbour and kipper factory with a visit to the House of Mannanan to see the maritime history of the island. The afternoon will be spent in Douglas for you to explore.
Day 6 After an early breakfast, you will board the ferry at 08.45 hours to Heysham. After disembarkation you will commence the homeward journey.

Your Holiday Hotel Empress Hotel - 29th April
Overlooking the open seaside at Douglas. All bedrooms are en- suite with TV, WiFi, telephone, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Lift and some steps to some rooms, bar, restaurant, mini gym, sauna and steam room.
NB: There are 18 steps to the entrance, but there is access via ground floor restaurant. Lift for small wheelchairs. Not suitable for persons with limited mobility.

The Chesterhouse Hotel - 18th September
The hotel is located on the sea front at Douglas and close to the town centre. All bedrooms are en- suite with showers, TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Small lift, bar, lounge and restaurant.
NB: Due to the original architectural features of this hotel it is not suitable for any guests requiring ‘wheelchair’ street level access’ as there are 6 external steps to access the hotel.
