Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to Llandrindod Wells, arriving late afternoon at the Metropole Hotel for a four night stay.

Days 2 to 4 We have included the following excursions:

• Travel to the beautiful Elan Valley set in a fabulous location against a spectacular backdrop of a Victorian stone dam. On arrival a ranger will board the coach and take you on 90-minute guided tour of the Estate which includes entrance into the Visitor Centre. There is a café where you will be able to obtain refreshments during your visit. You will return to Llandrindod Wells for free time to explore with a good range of independent shops, cafés and things to see.

• You will travel to the seaside town of Aberystwyth, the biggest town in mid Wales with a mile long Victorian promenade and oldest pier in Wales. Time to explore and enjoy lunch in one of the many eateries before boarding the train for a one hour ride on the Vale of Rheidol Railway, a heritage narrow gauge to Devil’s Bridge. A short walk from the terminus gets you to the spectacular Mynach Falls. Time for a coffee before boarding the coach to return to the hotel.

• You will journey through the beautiful and diverse scenery of the Brecon Beacons National Park with free time to explore the medieval town of Brecon. You will then board a canal cruise at 12.00 hours where you will enjoy an included cold buffet lunch whilst cruising on the historic Monmouthshire and Brecon canal.

Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
