Harrogate And Castle Howard Dressed For Christmas

Day 1 Morning departure for the journey north to Harrogate and the hotel for a four night stay.

Day 2 A scenic drive into the stunning Yorkshire Dales National Park to enjoy the beautiful landscape. You will visit Skipton known as the ‘Gateway to the Dales’, before continuing into the heart of the Dales and the thriving market town of Hawes, which stands at the head of Wensleydale between Buttertubs Pass and Fleet Moss Moor. We have included a visit to Wensleydale Creamery for a cheese tasting experience.

Day 3 A free day at leisure in Harrogate to relax, enjoy the Valley Gardens, the Turkish Baths, the shops and, of course make sure you visit Betty’s famous tea rooms. Later in the day, the hotel will spoil you with a sumptuous ‘festive-themed’ mini afternoon tea and a glass of festive fizz.

Day 4 A wicked and wonderful extravaganza awaits you at Castle Howard, skip down the yellow brick road to experience the house dressed as scenes from The Wizard of Oz and will be adorned with thousands of baubles, garlands, candles and wreaths. Discover breath- taking interiors with stunning traditional decorations. Live music will be performed under the Christmas tree or by roaring log fires adding to the seasonal atmosphere.

Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey
