Itinerary

Itinerary

Day 1 Morning departure for the journey into Worcestershire and to Great Malvern for a four night stay.

Day 2 This morning you travel to Witley Court and Gardens. See the extensive ruins of this Victorian house, once staffed by over 100 servants. The house was accidentally destroyed in a fire in 1937, but the dramatic shell of the house is worth exploring along with the lovely gardens. In the afternoon travel to Worcester and free time to explore some of its famous buildings.

Day 3 A free morning in the town of Malvern with its historical connections including Benedictine Monks, the oldest medieval stain-glass windows at the Priory, and the literature connections to C.S. Lewis and J.R.R Tolkien. Later you will travel to Hartlebury Castle to discover the Bishop’s Palace and follow in the steps of Royalty as you explore the historic grounds.

Day 4 Today will begin with a visit to the Hop Pocket Craft Centre for morning coffee and browsing before travelling to Weston’s Cider Mill for a tour, tasting and ploughman’s lunch.

Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
