Day 1 Morning departure for the journey north and to the seaside town of Blackpool for a four night stay.
Day 2 Today travel to Liverpool and you will visit the famous Liverpool Cathedral, with the world’s highest and widest Gothic arches, the tallest tower, the world’s highest and heaviest peal of bells and the UK’s largest, most magnificent organ. You will be amazed by this wonderful building. Afterwards you will have a River Explorer Cruise – take the ferry ‘cross the Mersey’ and see one of the greatest waterfronts in the world. Then you will have some free time to explore before returning to the hotel.
Day 3 A free day to explore, take a stroll along the famous promenade and visit one of the piers. Jump on a tram and take a ride along the Fylde Coast to Fleetwood. Enjoy the many attractions including the Tower – step into the sensationally stylish Tower Ballroom and prepare to be lost in a world of elegant charm and refined beauty.
Day 4 A scenic excursion takes you first to the Pendle Heritage Centre, with its museum on Pendle life focusing the 1600’s, The Pendle Witches and the Quakers. Enjoy a coffee in the tea room overlooking a restored walled garden. The journey continues by way of Horton in Ribblesdale and you will see the famous Ribblehead Viaduct with its twenty-four magnificent arches spanning the floor of the Pennines, travel past Ingleton to Morecambe and back to the hotel.
Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
