Glastonbury's Illuminated Carnival

The West Country illuminated carnivals are world famous! Watch a dazzling procession of floats and performers pass by lit up with up to 25000 electric light bulbs, including mechanical parts, choreographed routines set to music and spectacular costumes and not to be missed.
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.

Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to the Swindon Designer Outlet, a covered outlet with over 105 stores in the restored Great Western railway works. In the eating area, a steam locomotive that was built in Swindon is on display. Afterwards you will continue on to Weston-Super-Mare and the hotel for a three night stay.
Day 2 Morning at leisure to explore Weston-Super-Mare before enjoying lunch at 13.00 hours. At 15.00 hours, it’s time to wrap up warm and set off for Glastonbury. Here you can explore and soak up the atmosphere, but don’t forget to take up your positions early for the carnival. At 19.00 hours the procession begins and a spectacular sight awaits you. Return to the hotel late evening.
Day 3 A scenic drive through some of Somerset’s beautiful countryside with a visit to the city of Wells, with its magnificent Cathedral. Then travel into the scenic Cheddar Gorge with a chance to visit the famous caves, Britain’s most spectacular underground natural wonder.
Day 4 After breakfast, you will depart for Street to visit the outlet village for lunch and shopping before continuing the homeward journey.
