Holiday ItineraryExeter Cathedral
Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to East Devon and to Exmouth for a four night stay.
Day 2 A memorable day out at the World of Country Life. You can hand feed a deer or a llama, watch an exhilarating birds of prey flying display, take a walk down a Victorian street, marvel at all the memorabilia from the war and times gone by, see the vehicles used in the filming of Downton Abbey and Mr Selfridge and watch a hilarious ferret racing event.
Day 3 Today you will visit Exeter, a cathedral city brimming with colourful character and a delightful mix of architectural splendour. You will return to the hotel for an included lunch and then enjoy an afternoon river cruise on the Rive Exe.
Day 4 An excursion to the Victorian seaside town of Dawlish with its decorative flower bed, quaint shops and Dawlish brook, that runs through the town and is home to the famous black swans. Then onto Teignmouth, a historic port, at the mouth of the Teign estuary. It has all the attractions of a seaside town including a Victorian pier and a thriving mixture of shopping areas and interesting back streets. Returning to the hotel mid-afternoon.
Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and travel to West Bay, where the TV series ‘Broadchurch’ was filmed. After lunch you will commence the homeward journey.
