Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to the hotel on the outskirts of Exeter for a four night stay.
Days 2 to 4 We have included the following excursions:
Head into Exeter, a city rich in history, including the imposing Roman wall, beautiful quayside and Royal Albert Memorial Museum. We have included a visit to Exeter Cathedral for a 90-minute Lady Chapel and Bishop’s Palace Garden tour to discover the history of the cathedral and stories of people who lived and worshipped there. You will have free time to explore before returning to the hotel.
A day out in Dartmoor with a guide who will give you some history and stories of the area stopping at villages and places for photos.
NB: Wear sensible shoes and clothing should you want to take a little walk when on the moors.
- Begin today with a visit to Killerton, an 18th century house given to the National Trust by British politician Sir Richard Acland. Set in 6,400 acres of working farmland, woods, parkland, cottages and orchards. Enjoy an introductory tour before exploring further at leisure. In the afternoon you travel to Coldharbour Mill, one of the oldest woollen mills in the UK, having been in continuous production since 1797. Embark on a guided tour, reliving the sights and sounds of the industrial revolution and admire the textiles, knitting yard and hand-woven rugs.
Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.

Your Holiday Hotel Devon Hotel
Located on the outskirts of Exeter, close to the River Exe. All bedrooms are en-suite with TV, WiFi, complimentary toiletries, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Restaurant and bar that are in a separate building next door to the hotel, and an in-house gym.
NB: No lift, but all bedrooms are on the ground or first floor.
