Day 1 Early morning departure for the journey north to the hotel in Edinburgh for a three night stay. As the hotel is centrally located, there are bars and restaurants within short walking distance from the hotel.


Day 2 This morning travel the short distance to visit the Palace of Holyroodhouse, the King’s official Scottish residence. Afterwards travel to Glasgow to visit the National Piping Centre. Explore 300 years of Scotland’s Musical history and learn how the bagpipes work, hear them up close and even get the chance to have a go on a practice chanter!

Day 3 Free day to explore Edinburgh at leisure and visit the Christmas Market. Princes Street and George Street's shops are a few minutes' walk away, whilst Edinburgh Castle is approx. 20 minutes' walk from the hotel. Located in Princes Street Gardens, the traditional European-style market has approx. 70 stalls, the Big Wheel, Starflyer and Helter Skelter, Children’s market, funfair rides and family-friendly attractions, whilst you can find a Scottish Christmas Fair, Ice Rink and vintage funfair rides on George Street. Early evening we have included entrance to Edinburgh’s Castle of Light: an illuminated spectacular after dark trail.

Day 4 After breakfast, depart the hotel to commence the journey home.
