ItineraryItinerary Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to Great Yarmouth for a four night stay.
Day 2 Travel to Aylsham and to Blickling Hall, a breath-taking Jacobean mansion, mentioned in the Domesday Book, and was the birthplace of Anne Boleyn. During WW2 RAF air crew were billeted here, while its owner, Lord Lothian, influenced Churchill’s actions. Surrounding the house are some magnificent gardens for exploring and a historic park to discover the rolling countryside that sit at the heart of Norfolk’s beautiful Bure meadows.
Day 3 A free day to discover Great Yarmouth’s maritime heritage, visit one of its many museums or take a stroll along the beach.
Day 4 Today you will travel north along the Norfolk’s coast to Cromer with its Victorian Pier and famous for the ‘Cromer Crab’. You will then continue on to Norwich, the city has many museums, ancient pubs, cobbled streets and half-timbered houses, a jumble of medieval lanes and a delightful riverside along the winding Wensum.
Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
