This tour is based in the heart of the historic town of Darlington, and from here you will enjoy a cruise with afternoon tea on the River Tees, drive over the Pennines and visit the stunning coast.
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.

Day 1 Morning departure for the journey north to Darlington for a four night stay.
Day 2 Travel to National Glass Centre Sunderland for coffee stop and look around the exhibitions then you will travel up the coast to Shields continuing on to Tyne Tunnel to Tynemouth for lunch. Then head towards Newcastle, view the Quayside and enjoy some free time before travelling past the Angel of the North back to hotel.
Day 3 Free morning in Darlington, with lots of interesting attractions for you to enjoy. In the afternoon you will travel to Castlegate Quay where you will board the Teesside Princess for a 3 1⁄2 hours cruise with an included cream tea.
Day 4 Today you will be joined by our guide for the tour into the Durham Dales. First you will stop at Hexham for a coffee and then travel up past Alston and across the Moors to Stanhope Dales Centre in the heart of the North Pennines for a late lunch and look around before travelling on to Barnard Castle and back to the hotel.
Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
