Itinerary
Day 1 Morning departure for the journey north to Altrincham and to the hotel for a two night stay.
Day 2 Today you will head in to Manchester to Salford Quays and to MediaCityUK where you will be taken on a 90 minute tour of the ‘cobbles’. It is a unique opportunity giving you access to all areas of the outdoor Coronation Street set, revealing off-air secrets and fascinating facts. Stroll past Roy’s Rolls Café, check out Kev’s garage the Webster’s Auto Centre. Wander past the Kabin, see the most action-packed pub in the North West, The Rovers Return and even Weatherfield North as you explore the famous cobbles. This tour is the perfect attraction for any fan of the soap and a hugely entertaining day. Afterwards you will have plenty of time to explore Salford Quays and perhaps visit The Lowry, the Imperial War Museum North, or you could embark on a cruise from Salford to the city centre and return which takes an hour.
Day 3 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
