Itinerary
Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to Bideford and the hotel for a three night stay.
Day 2 A visit to Clovelly, once a busy fishing port and today it is a world- famous village nestled against a steep hillside, which has preserved a bygone way of life. You can follow the main traffic free cobbled streets as it tumbles its way down to a charming harbour, past whitewash cottages and intriguing alleyways all adding to the timeless atmosphere. Your entrance also includes Clovelly Court Gardens, the Fisherman’s Cottage and Kingsley Museum.
NB: As there is a steep cobbled hill down to the harbour and a steep cobbled hill back up to the visitor centre. There is a Land Rover service to transport passengers if required for a small charge on the day.
Day 3 Highlight of the tour is the visit to Rosemoor’s Flower Show, where you will see the very best the South West has to offer in nurseries, inspiring floral displays, quality plants, expert talks, quality trade stands and local fare, with some 20 or more nurseries expected to exhibit. There will be quality plants from the area and beyond, including some hard-to- find plants. (Full details not available at the time of print).
Day 4 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey
