© Welcome to YorkshireDay 1 Morning departure for the journey north to Yorkshire and the small market town of Easingwold for a four night stay.
Day 2 Today you will travel to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park near Wakefield, with exhibitions
for you to explore and weather permitting stroll around the open-air collection comprising of gifts from artists and individuals. There are always around 80 sculptures for you to see. After the visit you will travel to Bradford and the National Science Media Museum, home to over 3 million items of historical and cultural significance. It includes three pivotal firsts: the world’s earliest known surviving photographic negative, the earliest TV footage and the camera that made the earliest moving pictures in Britain.
Day 3 A visit to the Emmerdale Studio Experience, located at the programmes former studio in Leeds. Here you will see the much-loved surroundings of the Dingles, Bernice’s Salon, Smithy Cottage and the Woolpack sets, hear fascinating facts on some of the soaps biggest story lines and get the gossip and stories from the studio floor as a guide takes you on a unique tour. You will then visit Otley, the fictional Hotton situated in the beautiful countryside of Lower Wharfedale and to Esholt where you can explore the village and visit the original Woolpack Inn.
Day 4 A scenic drive that will first take you to Ripley Castle, a 14th century manor house where you will have a guided tour of the house to learn its history. Afterwards you will continue to Skipton and then to the magical little honeypot market town of Hawes, England’s highest, set in the Yorkshire Dales National Park and home to Wensleydale Cheese. Free time and an included visit to The Dales Countryside Museum before continuing by way of Masham to the hotel.
Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.

Your holiday hotel The Hawkhills Hotel
Located outside the small market town of Easingwold, this elegant stately home, built in the 1700s is steeped in heritage and has been extensively and sympathetically modernised. The charming building is set within 240 acres. All bedrooms have a shower room, TV, hairdryer WiFi, tea/coffee making facilities and complimentary toiletries. Lift, lounge, restaurant and gym.
Please note: All garden view bedrooms are NOT located in the manor house, but a 50m walk through the gardens to the rooms. This new build is where the gym and TV lounge (with snooker table) are located. The reception and restaurant are in the manor house where breakfast and dinner are served buffet style.
