Day 1 Morning departure for the journey into Shropshire and the hotel in Telford for a four night stay.
Day 2 This morning travel to Shrewsbury with its town centre packed with timber-framed black and white buildings, steep narrow streets and alleyways. There are over 600 listed buildings including the Castle, now a regimental museum and the world-famous Shrewsbury Abbey, home of the fictional Brother Cadfael, also the beautiful Quarry Park, location of The Dingle, floral masterpiece created by Percy Thrower.
Day 3 CHRISTMAS DAY A leisurely morning drive through the Shropshire countryside returning to the hotel for Christmas lunch, a visit from Father Christmas, Queen’s speech with afternoon tea and Christmas cake.
Day 4 Today you will visit Ironbridge, travelling into the gorge for some free time in the Ironbridge village. Returning to the hotel for a light lunch before being transferred to the Oakengates Theatre to take your seat for the Christmas pantomime of Cinderella, for an afternoon of fun and laughter.
Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
