Christmas Cruising In Yorkshire

Day 1 Morning departure for the journey north and to West Yorkshire and the hotel in Wakefield for a four night stay.

Day 2 Today you will visit York, where there is so much for you to see and do. Why not visit York Minster, the National Railway Museum, the largest in the world and of course make sure you take a stroll down ‘The Shambles’, York’s oldest and most photographed street. You will return to the hotel mid-afternoon for your festive afternoon tea.

Day 3 CHRISTMAS DAY Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and time to relax until Christmas lunch is served. Watch the King’s speech and enjoy some fun with the hotels host.

Day 4 This morning you will travel to Holmfirth, home to ‘Last of the Summer Wine’ TV series for a wander round the village and spot some of the filming locations and hopefully grab a coffee before returning to the hotel to join in with the quizzes or bingo.

Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.

NB: Christmas Cruising: Each night the music and shows are themed to take you on a journey around the world with live music cabaret and dancing. Prizes will be given to the best dressed in the theme of the night. Countries visited will be Barbados, Germany, America and of course England. Each afternoon there will be either bingo, a quiz or competition and on Christmas day there will be carols all organised and presented by your resident cruise director.
