Christmas At Doddington Hall And Belton House

Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to Lincolnshire arriving at the hotel in time for dinner.

Day 2 Journey to Doddington Hall where you can step into a land of magical fairytales as the displays unfold over three floors of the Elizabethan Hall, with a Doddington twist! During your self-guided tour, you can soak up the seasonal atmosphere of this treasured family home, which has seen a lot of Christmas mornings over its four hundred year history. Continue on to Lincoln for some free time before returning to the hotel. Please note: Hall decorations are spread over 3 floors and there is no lift available. There are 64 shallow and wide stairs during the tour.

Day 3 This morning travel to Stamford with its cobbled streets and gorgeous Georgian buildings before continuing on to Melton Mowbray, famous for its pork pies. Time to purchase lunch before continuing on to Belton House, where you can wander through spectacular rooms decorated with twinkling lights and showstopping trees. Enjoy the festive fairground, indulge in delicious seasonal treats or sip a mulled wine or hot chocolate before enjoying a walk through the grounds with its breathtaking illuminated trail.

Day 4 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the journey home.
