Based close to the city of Chester, this tour will give you the chance to visit Port Sunlight and learn about William Lever, the ‘soap king’ and the Wirral Peninsula along with visits to Crick Castle and Llangollen.

Day 1 Morning departure for the journey north into Cheshire and to the hotel for a four night stay.
Day 2 Today you will travel to the Wirral and visit Port Sunlight. Enjoy a combined visit to the museum, Edwardian worker’s cottage and a guided village tour. Experience the sights and sounds of the village and the museum, that showcases William Lever’s approach to advertising, a special ‘Sunlight Spirit’ film, and exhibitions exploring village life and a unique connection to music legends, The Beatles! Explore recreated rooms and uncover what home life was like over a century ago.
Day 3 You will travel to Crick Castle in a commanding position in the Welsh Marches. With over 700 years of history, explore the lavish interiors, state rooms and the 17th-century Long Gallery. There are also the 5.5 acres of award-winning gardens to stroll through with stunning views over the Cheshire and Salop plains. Afterwards you will visit Llangollen, renowned for the surrounding hills and the River Dee.
Day 4 Time to explore the historic city of Chester, with its complete city walls, the largest Roman Amphitheatre, 1000 year old cathedral and 700 year old Rows galleries where shopping is a delight.
Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
