Itinerary

Chirk Castle by DeFacto

Day 1 Morning departure for the journey north into Cheshire and to the hotel for a four night stay.

Day 2 Today you will travel to the Wirral and visit Port Sunlight. Enjoy a combined visit to the museum, Edwardian worker’s cottage and a guided village tour. Experience the sights and sounds of the village and the museum, that showcases William Lever’s approach to advertising, a special ‘Sunlight Spirit’ film, and exhibitions exploring village life and a unique connection to music legends, The Beatles! Explore recreated rooms and uncover what home life was like over a century ago.

Day 3 You will travel to Crick Castle in a commanding position in the Welsh Marches. With over 700 years of history, explore the lavish interiors, state rooms and the 17th-century Long Gallery. There are also the 5.5 acres of award-winning gardens to stroll through with stunning views over the Cheshire and Salop plains. Afterwards you will visit Llangollen, renowned for the surrounding hills and the River Dee.

Day 4 Time to explore the historic city of Chester, with its complete city walls, the largest Roman Amphitheatre, 1000 year old cathedral and 700 year old Rows galleries where shopping is a delight.
