Day 1 Morning departure to Derby for a two night stay.
Day 2 Today head into the Peak District National Park to the famous spa town of Buxton with free time to admire the Regency architecture and Pavilion Gardens or visit the fascinating exhibition at the Buxton Museum and Art Gallery. This afternoon take your seats in the Devonshire Dome, formerly a magnificent 18th century stable block built to house the 5th Duke of Devonshire’s horses and servants. This magnificent building gives the audience the opportunity to experience the powerful spectacle of the Tattoo closer to the action and the bands than at any other Tattoo in the country, and as a bonus, you are protected from the vagaries of the British weather.
Day 3 After breakfast, depart the hotel and you will travel to Stratford-upon-Avon. During your visit the annual Stratford River Festival may be taking place. (Date not confirmed at time of print). Time to explore before departing at approx. 15.00 hours to continue the homeward journey.
