Suffolk Owl SantuaryDay 1 Morning departure for the journey to Bicester Shopping Village for a lunchtime stop. Continue on to the hotel for a three night stay.

Day 2 Journey to historic Bury St Edmunds. Elegant streets house an array of shops and eateries. On Saturdays the town is home to a traditional street market. This afternoon travel to Ickworth, a Georgian Italianate palace with its impressive Rotunda commissioned by the 4th Earl of Bristol to house his priceless treasures collected on tours around Europe in the 18th-century. Follow the family's history through outstanding portraits by Gainsborough, Hogarth and Reynolds.
NB. Although the house will be decorated for Christmas, not all parts will be open.

Day 3 Morning visit to Stonham Barns with its numerous craft & gift shops, garden centre, tea shop and bistro, we have also included entrance to the Suffolk Owl Sanctuary located on the site. Continue on to Woodbridge which lies along the River Deben and has a history of rope-making, sail- making and boat-building before rounding off the day at Helmingham Hall’s Illuminated Garden Trail. Wander through the historic gardens transformed by a spectacular display of light, colour and sound. The trail takes you across the historic drawbridge, through glowing walkways, and past flickering fire pits. Enjoy festive street food and drink and browse for unique gifts in the Stable Shops. Return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 4 Depart after breakfast and make a lunchtime stop at Polhill Garden Centre before commencing the journey home.
