A visit to the Flemish city of Ghent, which boasts an opera house, museums, ancient churches and dozens of bridges. You will
spend the morning at leisure to explore this lovely city. Look out for the medieval belfry with its echoing bell, which, in the
past used to alert Belgium’s rulers of enemy advancements. Nowadays, its just part of the city’s charm. In the afternoon you will embark on a 50 minute circular cruise discovering Ghent from the water.- A visit to the Royal Palace. Although its been more than a century since the Belgian royal family lived in it, the Royal Palace of Brussels remains the headquarters of the Belgian constitutional monarchy. The construction of the Palace began at the beginning of the 19th century commissioned by William I of the Netherlands. During the reign of King Leopold II the palace was remodelled, and the façade was changed completely. These were the last restorations done to the Palace.
