There is plenty to discover in Bristol and surrounding area from its maritime heritage to the marvels of Brunel’s Bristol, a legacy of Victorian engineering that changed the face of the city forever.

Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to the Bristol area and the hotel for a four night stay.Day 2 This morning you will enjoy a guided tour of Aerospace Bristol, which offers a unique glimpse inside the aerospace industry from the point of view of the people who designed and built our nation’s aircraft over the past 100 years. You will get the chance to step aboard its star attraction, the iconic Concorde Alpha Foxtrot, the last of the supersonic passengers’ jets to be built and the last to fly. In the afternoon you will visit the City of Bath for free time to explore.
Day 3 Today travel to the Clifton Observatory, where you can explore the museum and discover its hidden secrets and vast heritage. The Observatory has the best view of the nearby Clifton Suspension Bridge, spanning the Avon Gorge, originally designed by Brunel and completed after his death. Later visit Portishead’s beautiful coastal location, enjoy picturesque scenery and shops in this historic town centre.
Day 4 Transfer to Bristol to enjoy a day at leisure and explore the many attractions Bristol has to offer. Stroll along the waterfront and perhaps visit SS Great Britain or Arnolfini, one of Europe’s leading centres for the contemporary arts, visit one of the many museums and galleries, or just shop. We have included a boat trip with commentary detailing the fascinating history of Bristol Docks and surrounding area whilst enjoying a cream tea.
Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey
