Clifton Suspension Bridge www.freepik.com Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to Bristol with stops made en route, Arrive at the hotel for a three night stay.Day 2 This morning you will travel to Bath. The compact, visitor-friendly centre is overflowing with places to eat and drink and some of the finest independent shops in Britain. Also, time for you to enjoy the Christmas Market. Later you will travel to Aerospace Bristol to discover Bristol’s aeronautical and space heritage, alongside stories of the human endeavour behind the technology. On arrival you will enjoy a cream tea under the wings of Concorde, an iconic symbol of design and innovation. Admire the aircraft whilst enjoying homemade fruit scones and tea – a unique experience and great photo opportunity.
Day 3 Today you will take a route through the Avon Gorge to see Isambard Kingdom Brunel’s magnificent Clifton Suspension Bridge, and then on to another of his masterpieces – the SS Great Britain. Launched in Bristol in 1843, this was the world’s first ocean-going, propeller- driven, iron ship. Visitors can experience what life was like for the ship’s Victorian passengers and crew. You will then travel into the city centre where there is free time to explore, including, the Christmas Market and the famous Harbourside before returning to the hotel.
