ItineraryItineraryDay 1 Morning departure for the journey to Brighton, on arrival you will have free time to explore before checking into the hotel for a three night stay.
Day 2 This morning you will travel to Herstmonceux Castle estate for free time to explore the formal gardens, woodland trails, meadows and lakes set around a majestic moated castle. In the afternoon visit Leonardslee Lakes Gardens, a 240-acre gardens featuring outstanding scenery throughout the year. Explore the famous Dolls’ House museum, gardens and extensive wildlife.
Day 3 Today enjoy a return journey on the Bluebell Railway before visiting Sheffield Park and Garden, an ancient estate that lies in the idyllic East Sussex countryside. Four lakes form the heart of the garden with paths leading into the magnificent gardens.
Day 4 After breakfast, depart the hotel and head for the Weald and Downland Museum, where the TV series – The Repair Shop is filmed. Free time to explore this beautiful setting in the South Downs National Park, bringing to life the homes, farms and workplaces of the south east over the past 1,000 years. Time for lunch at the Waterside café before continuing your homeward journey.
