Holiday Itinerary

Day 1 Early morning departure for the journey to Dover for the crossing to Calais and on to Orleans for an overnight stop. (NB: Bed and breakfast only).

Day 2 Continuing the journey through France and into Andorra to El Tarter for a five night stay.

Day 3 Three Countries Tour. Cross the border into Spain, to the pretty town of La Seu d’Urgell, historically one of the most important towns in medieval Catalonia. Full of Romanesque architecture, with attractions including the Santa Maria Cathedral. Following the visit you will proceed to Puigcerda, on the border with France, the town has interesting monuments as well as lovely sunny sidewalk cafes. You will return to Andorra by way of the Port d’Envalira mountain pass.

Day 4 Today is at leisure. Enjoy the hotel’s extensive facilities or take a walk in the beautiful countryside.

Day 5 Enjoy a tour of Andorra’s three scenic valleys as you travel through spectacular scenery: La Massana, Ordino and Escaldes. First you will visit Andorra’s capital, Andorra la Vella with its wealth of shops and designer boutiques. Not forgetting to explore the Barri Antic (Old Town) square in the original heart of the town when it was little more than a village. You will then continue to Ordino Arcalis taking in breath-taking scenery before returning to hotel.

Day 6 Leaving the principality today and head over the Spanish border, through the Catalan countryside to the village of Ribes de Freser. From here join the historic Rack Railway and wind your way up the mountain to picture- perfect Vall de Nuria, where at 2000m above sea level you will enjoy spectacular views.

Day 7 After breakfast, time to depart for the journey through France to the overnight stop in Orleans. (NB: Bed and breakfast only).
