Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to Waterperry Gardens, set in 20 acres of beautifully landscaped ornamental gardens, with a quality plant centre, garden shop, gallery, gift shop, museum and tea shop. Afterwards you will continue to Banbury for a four night stay.Days 2 to 4 We have included the following excursions:
• You will travel to Blenheim Palace, home to the 12th Duke of Marlborough and the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. The palace is full of over 300 years of history and more than 2,000 acres of landscaped parkland and formal gardens to explore.
• Free morning to explore Banbury with its rich heritage and beautiful countryside. In the afternoon you will travel to Broughton Castle, a moated and fortified manor house. Set in parkland and built of the rich local Hornton ironstone. Time to explore the castle and the pretty gardens.
• A scenic drive through some of the stunning Cotswolds with stops at Evesham for lunch and to Stow-on-the-Wold.
Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
