Kilkenny is a flourishing city with a fascinating medieval history and a thriving crafts industry. The 800-year-old Norman castle overlooks the ancient streets of Kilkenny which today has been transformed into a cosmopolitan destination. Our tour also visits the �Garden of Ireland� as County Wicklow is known, as well as enjoying a guided tour of Ireland�s cosmopolitan capital, Dublin.

Day 1 - Home - Interchange - Holyhead - Dublin - Kilkenny
Full Day Excursion to Kilkenny including guided tour & Castle
We take a guided tour of the medieval city of Kilkenny, today a flourishing cosmopolitan city with a diverse range of restaurants, lively pubs and thriving craft shops (guide included). The Norman castle overlooks the River Nore and has guarded the river crossing for more than 900 years. Take a stroll through the beautiful gardens with extensive woodland paths, rose garden and ornamental lake (entrance to Kilkenny Castle included in the tour cost).
Full Day Excursion to Avoca & Glendalough
We travel through the southern Wicklow Hills to Avoca Handweavers, the village made famous by BBC�s 'Ballykissangel'. We also visit the dramatically beautiful valley of Glendalough with its tiny church, ruined abbey and fine round tower.
Full Day Excursion to Irish National Stud & Powerscourt House
This majestic 18th century house has some exquisite interiors, particularly the ballroom, and an immense 45 acres of formal and informal gardens (entry included in the tour cost).
Day 6 - Dublin Guided Tour (en route)
Discover Trinity College, Dublin Castle, its two majestic cathedrals, many museums and follow in the literary footsteps of Joyce, Yeats and Shaw. We stay overnight on the outskirts of the city.
Day 7 - Dublin - Holyhead - Interchange - Home
