Historic Whitby is an ideal touring base from which to explore the breath taking North York Moors and Yorkshire Coast. This quaint old fishing town, standing on the mouth of the River Esk, is famous as the home of Dracula. Towering over the harbour are the ancient ruins of the Abbey of St Hilda, which dominates East Cliff.

Day 3 - Day at Leisure
Day 4 - Scarborough & Pickering
We cross the Moors to the traditional market town of Pickering./nThe town hosts over 100 independent retailers and cafes./nScarborough is arguably the oldest seaside resort in Britain, predating Brighton./nThe town's two bays are divided by a dramatic headland with its medieval castle./nScarborough also retains a busy fishing harbour./n
Day 5 - Return Travel
