Whitby & Nym Railway 5 Days - Royal Hotel Whitby
Historic Whitby is an ideal touring base from which to explore the breath taking North York Moors and Yorkshire Coast. This quaint old fishing town, standing on the mouth of the River Esk, is famous as the home of Dracula. Towering over the harbour are the ancient ruins of the Abbey of St Hilda, which dominates East Cliff.

Day 1 - Outward Travel
Day 2 - North Yorkshire Moors Railway & Pickering
We board the lovingly restored carriages of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway for a trip through the beautiful moors. Keep an eye out for the 'celebrity' station of Goathland which has featured heavily on screen in Heartbeat, Harry Potter and Downton Abbey! We arrive in Pickering where there will be free time to explore this charming market town before we return to Whitby./n
Day 3 - Day at Leisure
Day 4 - Scarborough & Filey
Scarborough really does have it all – dramatic cliffs, prominent castle headland, historic harbour and wonderful beaches. Perhaps take a ride on the oldest funicular railway in Britain, enjoy a stroll through the gardens or enjoy some seaside fun on the award-winning beaches. We continue our day with a visit to Filey. Home to an historic promenade, impressive Edwardian architecture and a five-mile expanse of stunning beach this is a great place to explore. /n
Day 5 - Return Travel
Royal Whitby Hotel
This hotel offers great views of Whitby Abbey, the harbour, the old town and the wonderful beach courtesy of its cliff-top setting.
