St Bees is Cumbria�s most westerly point and is home to a large sandy beach and red sandstone cliffs. As the only Heritage Coast between Wales and Scotland, there is spectacular scenery and wildlife. St Bees provides an excellent base from which to explore the Western Lake district.

Full Day Excursion to Muncaster, Furness and Ulverston
We visit Muncaster Castle, home to an amazing octagonal library, and the World Owl Centre which cares for many species of owl (entrance to Castle and Owl Centre included in tour cost). We then continue to the market town of Ulverston, birthplace of Stan Laurel and home to the 'Laurel & Hardy Museum' before returning via the Furness Peninsula.
Full Day Excursion to Grasmere and Keswick
We travel to the heart of the Western Lakes via Cockermouth, then along the edge of Bassenthwaite to Keswick. In the afternoon, we travel past Thirlmere to Grasmere and on to Coniston before retracing our steps to St Bees.
NOTE: This tour operates via Burtonwood Interchange, therefore clients travelling from towns north of Preston may wish to join direct at Forton Services.
