From wonderful Warwick, famous for its magnificent castle, superb specialist and independent shops, historic charm and a fantastic range of places to eat & drink, to the birthplace of William Shakespeare, Stratford-upon-Avon Warwickshire is a captivating mix of the famous and the yet-to-be discovered in beautiful countryside threaded by rivers and canals.

Day 1 - Outward Travel
Day 2 - Full Day Warwick & Warwick Castle
Dating back to 914, Warwick Castle has stood the test of time. Bursting with tales of treachery and torture, passion and power, Warwick Castle has so much to enjoy - medieval vaults, private residences, towers and ramparts - a truly great day out! We'll also have some time to explore the historic town itself which the castle overlooks./n
Day 3 - Half Day National Memorial Arboretum
We visit the National Memorial Arboretum - a British site of national remembrance. Nestled into the peaceful, 150 acres of woodland are almost 400 memorials, many of which carry a personal message and the walks and gardens provide perfect spots for moments of quiet reflection./n
Day 4 - Full Day Stratford-upon-Avon
Most famous as the birthplace of England's most famous playwright, Stratford-upon-Avon brims with everything William Shakespeare. With over 800 years of history to explore, including Holy Trinity Church where Shakespeare's grave lies, this is a wonderful town to explore. /n
Day 5 - Return Travel
Mercure Birmingham West
Ideally situated for a break in the West Midlands, the 4-star Mercure Birmingham West Hotel is the perfect base from which to explore. The hotel offers stylish and spacious bedrooms with sleek and modern bathrooms. The contemporary restaurant offers a menu with a range of dishes and the bar is a great spot in which to relax.
