Torquay is one of Britain's most famous resorts, situated at the heart of 22 miles of unspoilt coastline, often referred to as the "English Riviera". It has a mild climate, sparkling blue waters and in its beautiful public gardens you will see subtropical plants and palm trees. Torquay has something to offer everyone: by day you can relax on one of the clean sandy beaches, explore the bustling harbour and marina and the excellent shops or if you are feeling more active there are lovely walks, or activities such as sailing, bowls, golf or fishing. By night you'll be spoilt for choice: there are theatres, night clubs, cabarets and discothèques and of course you'll see the lights illuminating the promenade reflected across the beautiful bay. The many local attractions include Paignton Zoo, Babbacombe Model Village, Kent's Cavern, Torbay Steam Railway and Cockington thatched village.

Day 2 - Excursion to Festive Saltram
Saltram overlooks the River Plym, and is set in a rolling landscaped park just on the outskirts of Plymouth. Home to the Parker family from 1743, an earlier mansion was remodelled to reflect the family's increasingly prominent position./nExplore the opulent interiors, magically dressed for Christmas. Enjoy festive wow moments around every corner and get yourself into the Christmas spirit admiring the beautifully adorned trees and delicate ornaments./n
Day 3 - Day at Leisure
Day 4 - Excursion to Teignmouth
Enjoy a day of splendour on the English Riviera as we make our way to Georgian Teignmouth. A popular town, framed by hills, Teignmouth has a glorious beach and pier and beautiful architecture to admire. /n
Day 5 - Return Travel
Metropole Hotel
Situated in the heart of Torquay’s Hotel district just a five minute walk
from the beach, the Metropole Hotel offers a great location to explore
beautiful Torquay and the well-renowned English Riviera. The hotel features
a restaurant, relaxing lounge and bar with dancefloor, where you can find
entertainment on most evenings. The hotel has undergone a multi-million
pound refurbishment since joining the Group in 2019. The hotel also boasts
an outdoor seating area, perfect for soaking up the sun and enjoying a
